Job Overview
ProPharma is offering a Pharmacovigilance Internship opportunity in Hyderabad for candidates with prior exposure to the Argus Safety database. This role provides practical experience in drug safety operations, case processing, and regulatory reporting within a global pharmacovigilance environment. The position is based onsite at the Hyderabad office.

Job Title: Pharmacovigilance Intern (Argus Safety)
Location: Hyderabad, India (Work from Office)

Department: Pharmacovigilance
Key Responsibilities
Manage assigned mailboxes, including triaging client communications and inbound safety reports
Perform duplicate checks and support initial case book-in activities
Enter basic safety data into the Argus Safety database (patient details, suspect drug, adverse events)
Assist in case processing and follow-up activities within Argus
Support narrative writing and MedDRA coding tasks
Assist in Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) preparation and management
Ensure timely adverse event reporting in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with pharmacovigilance standards and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Competencies
Basic knowledge and hands-on training/experience in Argus Safety database (mandatory)
Understanding of pharmacovigilance principles and drug safety regulations
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related scientific field
Experience Requirements
Freshers: Not eligible (prior Argus Safety exposure required)
Preferred: 0–1 year of experience or relevant training in pharmacovigilance and Argus database operations
