Position Summary:

ICON Plc is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Associate to work within a Medical Information (MI) Call Center. The role involves supporting clients in compliance with applicable regulations and operational agreements. The MI staff member will be trained to handle medical inquiries related to drug products, quality complaints, and adverse events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and process inquiries related to adverse events, reactions, product complaints, and medical information.

  • Triage information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOPs.

  • Follow-up on adverse events via phone or writing based on client requirements.

  • Manage client projects, including relationships and budgets.

  • Handle incoming communications such as emails, faxes, and phone calls.

  • Data entry into medical information databases, tracking systems, and project-specific forms.

  • Prepare Standard Response Letters and perform literature searches as needed.

  • Identify and forward Case Safety Reports and product complaints to relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and provide regulatory expertise.

  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to address project issues and achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in Pharmacovigilance.

  • Strong written & oral communication skills in English.

  • Healthcare professional (HCP) such as a Nurse or Pharmacist.

  • Ability to work in a Medical Call Center, with 80% of the time spent communicating with HCPs and patients.
