Job Description:

HealthSource of Ohio is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team in Batavia, OH. As a Pharmacist at HSO, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, and providing counseling to patients on their prescribed and over-the-counter medications. You will maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment and assist with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions, performing data entry, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and verifying prescriptions.
  • Anticipate medication and supply needs, place and expedite orders, verify receipts, and remove outdated drugs.
  • Ensure the pharmacy is safe, clean, and compliant with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Counsel patients on their prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.

Requirements:

  • Active Ohio Pharmacy License.
  • Immunization Certification by an accredited organization.
  • Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the pharmacy field.
