Job Overview
The Officer – Medical Imaging is responsible for supporting imaging-related activities in clinical trials, ensuring accurate data capture, quality control, and compliance with study protocols. The role requires expertise in handling multiple imaging modalities, maintaining data integrity, and supporting clinical data management processes.

Key Responsibilities
Enter clinical trial data into validated data collection systems and tools
Perform quality control review of clinical images including OCT, FFA, CFP, CT, MRI, and other modalities
Review CRFs, eCRFs, reports, and data listings to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Assist clinical sites with uploading imaging data in accordance with study requirements
Train site personnel on imaging acquisition guidelines and protocol compliance
Support data analysis and contribute to clinical data review processes
Assist in database lock activities, study closeout, and data reconciliation
Manage queries related to imaging and clinical data with timely resolution
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for data collection and transfer systems
Conduct ongoing review of clinical and medical data for assigned patients and documentation
Ensure high data quality standards and maintain audit readiness in line with clinical compliance and system validation requirements
Support development and review of data capture guidelines aligned with study protocols and reporting standards

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry or related field
Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical optometry may be considered

Experience Requirements
At least 6 months of experience in clinical trials, medical imaging, or optometry
Experience working in a central reading center is preferred

Key Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of clinical imaging techniques and modalities
High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
Familiarity with clinical trial documentation and data management systems
Effective communication and training skills for site coordination
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical research environment
