Role Summary:

The Neuroscience Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for driving sales and developing strong customer relationships within the assigned territory. This position engages in product promotion, strategic business management, and customer relationship development through both in-person and virtual engagements. The role requires a deep understanding of the product and disease state, the ability to use analytical tools to identify and implement business strategies, and the capability to work remotely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet Pfizer's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Territory Management:

    • Drive sales in the assigned territory by engaging customers face-to-face and virtually.
    • Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans, maximizing overall impact through both live and virtual engagement strategies.
    • Identify and implement strategies that enhance customer engagement using available digital tools.
  2. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:

    • Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers, leveraging digital tools for effective engagement.
    • Maintain customer engagement by using a combination of live interactions and digital tools.
  3. Data Utilization & Strategic Business Development:

    • Analyze internal reports and data to identify strategic business opportunities in the territory.
    • Compliantly educate healthcare providers about product value propositions, utilizing approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources.
  4. Teamwork & Collaboration:

    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer's business objectives.
    • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork capabilities across the organization to ensure compliance and achieve business goals.
  5. Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities:

    • Complete all administrative tasks on time and in full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in professional sales, promotional activity, marketing, customer service, account management, or related healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT, etc.).
    • Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must live within 25 miles of the territory’s border.
    • Valid US driver’s license with a driving record in compliance with company standards.
    • Ability to travel within the territory, with occasional overnight stays as necessary.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience:
    • 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, or related marketing.
    • Strong track record of sales or marketing success, with effective territory management and communication skills.
    • Experience with relevant disease states, therapeutic areas, and products.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of territory customers and markets (e.g., prescribers, healthcare providers, institutions).

  • Anticipated Start Date: March 3rd

  • Work Location Assignment: Remote - Field-Based

  • Compensation:

    • Annual base salary ranges from $71,700 to $180,200, with eligibility for quarterly Sales Incentive bonuses.
    • Comprehensive benefits package including a 401(k) plan with Pfizer Matching Contributions, paid leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision).
