Job Summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Medical Writing Ops Analyst (Remote, India) to support clinical systems and reporting activities using Power BI. This role plays a critical part in enabling medical writing and clinical operations teams with data-driven insights and operational dashboards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in reporting tools, data modeling, and cross-functional collaboration in a pharmaceutical or clinical research environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert in clinical reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI).

  • Maintain and enhance reporting systems, dashboards, and data flows.

  • Handle customer support requests and resolve data discrepancies efficiently.

  • Lead and design complex data models across multiple data sources.

  • Support system upgrades, module implementations, and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements.

  • Train internal and external stakeholders on tools and dashboard usage.

  • Respond to service desk tickets, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.

  • Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and regulatory standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in clinical systems, clinical reporting, or analytics in the pharma industry.

  • Advanced skills in Power BI, data modeling, and dashboard development.

  • Strong understanding of clinical operations workflows and terminology.

  • Proficiency with Excel, query languages, and reporting frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Experience collaborating with diverse global teams.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and training delivery.

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, or related field (preferred).
