Job Title:
Medical Scientist (MBBS / MD Qualified Only) – Remote India
Job Summary:
Syneos Health is hiring a Medical Scientist (MBBS/MD) for a remote position in India. If you are an experienced medical professional passionate about drug development and clinical trial safety, this is a chance to join a global pharmaceutical leader. This role focuses on reviewing clinical data, assessing adverse events, and supporting clinical oversight activities in large-scale studies. Prior experience as a Medical Monitor or in vaccine trials is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform eligibility assessments and data reviews per clinical protocols
Analyze subject safety data including serious/non-serious adverse events
Support lead clinicians with narrative preparation and data interpretation
Conduct literature reviews and assist with data cleaning
Participate in safety surveillance meetings and presentations
Contribute to safety narrative workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during study conduct
Maintain data integrity and compliance with trial standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
MBBS, MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
At least 2 years of direct post-residency patient care preferred
Prior experience as a Medical Monitor (within 3 years)
Clinical trial experience, ideally in vaccine or infectious diseases
Familiarity with EDC systems (e.g., InForm, RedCap) and J Review
Proficiency in medical data interpretation and clinical trial design
Fluent in English with strong documentation and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Specialties in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, or Family Medicine preferred
