Job Description:
The Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL is a highly trained, field-based scientific expert specializing in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL). This role involves engaging healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in clinical, scientific, and value-based discussions related to CTCL and Lymphir, a recombinant cytotoxic fusion protein composed of diphtheria toxin fragments A and B and human interleukin-2. The MSL will build relationships with the HEME/ONC scientific community, interact with professional societies and organizations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary field contact for Medical Deployment.

  • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in oncology, with a focus on CTCL standards of care.

  • Develop and track KOL engagement plans, fostering long-term relationships with KOLs.

  • Engage in medical and scientific exchange with advisory boards and HCPs.

  • Manage and develop the assigned territory, ensuring KOL tracking and profiling.

  • Collaborate with the R&D Team to support clinical trial sites and investigators.

  • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling to enhance product and disease knowledge.

  • Work cross-functionally with commercial colleagues to ensure alignment with strategic imperatives.

  • Respond to and document unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information.

  • Provide internal teams with insights from KOL interactions.

  • Represent the company at medical meetings, providing Scientific Booth coverage.

  • Attend relevant congresses and develop internal reports on scientific updates.

  • Adhere to corporate SOPs and compliance guidelines.

  • Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals beyond geographic territories.

  • Provide clinical and scientific training to internal teams as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) strongly preferred.

  • Experience:

    • MSL: Minimum 2 years of MSL experience, with at least 1 year in Oncology.

    • Sr. MSL: Minimum 5 years of pharma experience and 3 years in Oncology.

    • Hematology/Oncology experience preferred for both positions.

  • Prior product launch experience required.

  • Strong scientific, business, and clinical acumen with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to interpret and present scientific data to engage KOLs effectively.

  • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, payer systems, and oncology institutions preferred.

  • Ability to present to formulary and P&T committees.

  • Willingness to travel frequently (70%), including overnight stays.
