Job Description:

The Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL serves as a field-based, scientific expert specializing in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL). They engage with healthcare professionals, leaders, and institutions to facilitate peer-to-peer scientific exchange regarding CTCL and Lymphir, a recombinant cytotoxic fusion protein. This role includes building scientific relationships, collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and supporting clinical protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary field-based contact for Medical Deployment.

  • Maintain clinical, scientific, and technical expertise in oncology, with a specific focus on CTCL standards of care.

  • Develop and track KOL engagement plans, establishing and maintaining long-term collaborative relationships.

  • Engage in scientific exchange with the medical community, including advisory boards.

  • Manage territory development and KOL tracking.

  • Respond to and document unsolicited requests for clinical information.

  • Collaborate with R&D to support clinical trial sites and investigators.

  • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling to enhance knowledge of product and disease areas.

  • Facilitate institution profiling efforts to understand patient care pathways.

  • Collaborate compliantly with commercial teams to align strategic imperatives.

  • Support investigator-sponsored trial proposals as a subject matter expert.

  • Provide feedback and insights from KOL interactions to internal teams.

  • Represent the company at medical meetings and congresses.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate SOPs and regulatory guidelines for scientific interactions.

  • Contribute to achieving organizational goals beyond geographic territories.

  • Offer medical support, clinical input, and training to internal teams.


Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) strongly preferred.

  • MSL: Minimum 2 years of MSL experience with 1 year in Oncology.

  • Sr. MSL: Minimum 5 years of Pharma experience and 3 years of Oncology experience.

  • Hematology/Oncology experience strongly preferred for both positions.

  • Prior product launch experience required.

  • Strong scientific, business, and clinical acumen with excellent communication and networking skills.

  • Ability to interpret and present scientific data to engage KOLs.

  • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, payer systems, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortiums is desirable.

  • Ability to present to formulary and P&T committees.

  • Understanding of institutions and clinics treating Oncology-related conditions preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently (70%), including overnight stays.
