Job Description:

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) is a field-based scientific expert in gene therapy who engages with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in peer-to-peer scientific exchange, focusing on recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) and off-the-shelf (OTS) AdenoVerse® gene therapy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary medical point of contact in the assigned geographic area.

  • Maintain clinical and scientific expertise in otolaryngology and gene therapy, with a focus on RRP standards of care.

  • Conduct scientific peer exchange on the company's pipeline with KOLs, adhering to regulatory and corporate guidelines.

  • Develop and manage long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs and healthcare practitioners.

  • Collaborate with professional societies, organizations, and clinics involved in RRP treatment and gene therapy.

  • Engage with advisory boards and provide scientific insights to internal teams.

  • Manage territory development, including KOL engagement plans and account profiling.

  • Respond to unsolicited requests for information on clinical initiatives.

  • Support clinical trial sites and investigators, collaborating with the R&D team.

  • Represent the company at medical meetings and scientific congresses.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate SOPs and regulatory guidelines governing scientific interactions.

  • Provide internal training and scientific support to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, NP/PA) required.

  • MSL: Minimum 2 years of MSL experience, with at least 1 year in rare disease, oncology, or immunology, and knowledge of gene therapy.

  • Sr. MSL: Minimum 5 years of pharma experience, including 3 years in rare disease, oncology, or immunology.

  • Cell and gene therapy experience preferred.

  • Prior product launch experience required.

  • Strong scientific, business, and clinical acumen with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to present complex scientific data to KOLs, payors, and formulary committees.

  • Working knowledge of RRP standards of care, institutions, and payer systems is desirable.

  • Ability to travel frequently (70%), including overnight stays.
