Compensation:
$200,000 – $265,000 annually (Final offer may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and location. Additional incentives and benefits apply.)


Position Overview:
IQVIA is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) with Oncology experience to join its Commercial Solutions division. In this strategic, field-based role, you will serve as a scientific expert and liaise between IQVIA, investigators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and clinical stakeholders across the Eastern U.S. territory. The MSL will play a critical role in driving education, engagement, and support for clinical research programs in a compliant and non-promotional manner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide field-based medical and scientific support for company-sponsored clinical trials

  • Deliver accurate, balanced presentations on therapeutic areas and investigational pipelines to HCPs

  • Identify and mitigate trial site enrollment barriers through medical insights

  • Engage with investigators to support clinical trial operations and protocol adherence

  • Collect and share field intelligence on treatment landscapes, competitor activity, and trial feedback

  • Contribute to advisory boards, symposia, and key medical congresses

  • Facilitate investigator-initiated study proposals and collaborations

  • Maintain high compliance with regulatory, legal, and ethical standards in all interactions

  • Support and train scientific speakers and advocate stakeholders in the designated therapy area

  • Build and manage relationships with KOLs, professional organizations, and site personnel

  • Manage territory operations and CRM data input in a timely, accurate manner


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, clinical, or healthcare environment

  • Strong background in Oncology therapeutic area is highly preferred

  • Demonstrated experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a medical affairs role

  • Advanced communication, relationship-building, and scientific engagement skills

  • Project management capabilities and proficiency in CRM tools

  • Ability to travel regionally for site visits, conferences, and stakeholder engagements

  • Strong commitment to compliance, ethical behavior, and scientific integrity
