Medical Research Associate – Night Shift (6pm–7am) | Salt Lake City, UT

Join ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, as a Medical Research Associate in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time, on-site, night shift role is perfect for healthcare professionals passionate about patient care and clinical research.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist clinical research participants upon arrival

  • Perform vital sign assessments: height, weight, blood pressure, BMI

  • Conduct phlebotomy as per study protocols

  • Ensure participants meet eligibility for clinical trial inclusion

  • Chaperone and supervise study subjects during off-clinic time

  • Actively participate in team meetings and assigned duties

  • Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and study protocol guidelines


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • Undergraduate degree in a clinical or healthcare field (preferred)

  • 1+ years of experience in a medical or clinical role (preferred)

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)

  • Certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Phlebotomy (advantageous)

  • Preferred backgrounds: Medical Assistant, CNA, Certified Medication Aide, Telemetry Technician, Laboratory Technician
