Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Medical Representative to drive prescription generation and pharmaceutical product promotion in the Kakinada territory. The role involves direct engagement with healthcare professionals, effective territory management, and execution of strategic sales initiatives to maximize product uptake and support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured field activities to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through prescription generation from healthcare professionals (HCPs).

  • Perform Regular RCPA (Retail Chemist Prescription Audit) and ensure accurate data entry in internal systems.

  • Implement Pre-Call Planning for every doctor visit to optimize interactions and improve sales outcomes.

  • Promote and demonstrate pharmaceutical products to doctors and pharmacists in compliance with divisional guidelines.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with prescribers to ensure consistent prescription flow and minimize prescriber attrition.

  • Ensure sufficient product availability at pharmacies to honor prescriptions and achieve Primary Order Booking (POB) targets.

  • Maintain and update doctor and chemist databases according to territorial and divisional requirements.

  • Support successful execution of new product launches through effective field implementation of approved strategies.

  • Coordinate with distribution partners, including stockists, to ensure smooth product availability and market coverage.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Science, Pharmacy, Management, or Veterinary Sciences.
    Acceptable qualifications include:

    • B.Sc.

    • B.Pharm

    • D.Pharm

    • MBA

    • BVSc

    • Diploma in Veterinary Science


Experience Requirement

  • 0 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical marketing, or field-based healthcare roles.

  • Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
