Job Overview
Provide medical safety expertise for drugs, devices, and combination products in the post-marketing phase. Deliver medical assessments and support safety data processing while ensuring quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform primary medical review of cases, including:
Seriousness, listedness/labeling, and causality assessment
Adverse event coding and narrative review
Document case data and feedback in trackers/tools for workflow management
Own deliverables to meet quality, compliance, and productivity expectations
Provide training and guidance to case processing team after 1 year of tenure
Support signal detection and aggregate analysis as needed
Maintain high levels of customer service and accountability
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in medical science, MD, DO, or equivalent
Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
English Language Proficiency:
Speaking: ILR Level 3+
Reading/Writing: ILR Level 4+
Minimum Experience Required
Working knowledge of medical science, diagnoses, drug treatments, and medical procedures
Understanding of regulatory requirements in clinical research
Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
1 to 2 years of clinical practice experience
Work Environment
Office or home-based, depending on line manager's decision
