Your Role:

As a Medical Manager for Cardio-Metabolic-Endocrine India, you will play a pivotal role in driving the local Medical Affairs strategy for your therapeutic area. You will be responsible for leading and executing Medical Affairs tactics, ensuring scientific accuracy, and strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. Your role will have a direct impact on the company's medical strategy, product development, and patient care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:

  • Serve as the local Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area (TA) expert, leading in-field and office-based activities.
  • Support local TA leadership in the development of launch and brand strategies.
  • Contribute insights on market trends, unmet needs, and treatment landscapes.

Operations:

  • Develop and review medical materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead local training initiatives and ensure the continuous medical education of teams.
  • Support the planning and execution of territory-specific medical plans with healthcare providers (HCPs).

Data Generation and Scientific Communication:

  • Lead or support medical studies, and contribute to the planning of local clinical projects.
  • Drive the local publication process and align with regional and global publication plans.
  • Provide scientific insights and ensure the safe, appropriate use of company products.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and HCPs to ensure optimal use of company products and improve patient care.
  • Represent the company at medical education programs, meetings, and advocacy events.
  • Support external partnerships for innovative research and healthcare solutions.

Strategic Impact:

  • Acts as a field-based expert, building trusted relationships with external stakeholders and HCPs.
  • Provides insights back to the company to inform strategy and improve patient outcomes.
  • Influences customer and operational activities, advancing discussions and building consensus.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Medical Graduate (M.D. in Pharmacology or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional, clinical, or research experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of clinical research, regulatory environments, and project management.
  • Experience as an MSL or in pharmaceutical roles is preferred.
