About the Role

The Medical Lead will take a leadership role in designing, implementing, and executing Medical Affairs strategies for Solid Tumors. This includes providing scientific information, prioritizing clinical studies, and building educational dialogues with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and regulatory partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Medical Inquiries & Communication: Ensure timely and high-quality responses to medical inquiries, with the establishment of response documents for frequently asked questions.
  • Clinical Research & Trials: Provide medical/scientific input into the development and execution of clinical trials, supporting the initiation and oversight of clinical studies related to Solid Tumors.
  • Non-Interventional Studies (NIS): Support the country strategy for Non-Interventional Studies and Investigator Initiated Trials.
  • Material Review & Approval: Coordinate the review and approval of medical materials, ensuring that materials provided by global or regional teams are tailored to local needs and reviewed per local guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide medical insights to cross-functional teams including Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Quality Assurance, and Commercial teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement internal controls within your responsibilities.

Essential Requirements

  • Education: University degree in life sciences (MD is highly desirable).
  • Experience: Validated experience in similar roles, particularly in oncology products within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Skills:
    • Strong partner engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
    • Proficient in both English and Spanish.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt.
    • Availability for up to 30% field work.
