About the Role:
Join Q2 Solutions, the laboratory division of IQVIA, as a Medical Laboratory Technician in our Special Chemistry department at Valencia, CA. This role involves performing analytical testing and supporting laboratory operations to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality results that advance global research.
Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and document analytical laboratory procedures following SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct routine data analysis; identify and escalate atypical results to senior staff.
Upload analysis results to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) under supervision.
Support quality investigations, deviation management, and procedural updates.
Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions for analytical use.
Train new or entry-level laboratory personnel; assist with onboarding and competency training.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, including calibration checks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure timely communication and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology (required).
Licensure: Valid MLT License (required).
Experience: Minimum 6 months in a regulated laboratory environment (preferred).
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment handling, and automation systems.
Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Knowledge of GLP, laboratory safety, and infection control standards.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing/walking, and close visual work.
Comfortable with variable environmental conditions, including cold storage areas.
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual Base Pay Range: $41,400 – $86,100 (based on education, experience, and location).
