About the Role:

Join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory division, as a Medical Laboratory Technician – Special Chemistry at the Valencia, CA site.
This role involves performing specialized laboratory testing and analytical procedures to support research and development activities, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Shift Details:

🕐 Sunday – Thursday | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and document analytical laboratory procedures in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct routine data analysis and escalate unusual or out-of-tolerance results to senior laboratory staff.
Upload and manage data analysis results in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Participate in quality investigations, deviation handling, and process improvement initiatives.
Prepare buffers, reagents, and laboratory solutions as required for testing.
Assist with onboarding and training of new or junior laboratory personnel.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure instrument performance.
Collaborate across teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology (required).
Licensure:
- Valid Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment (preferred).
Alternate Path:
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

✅ Proficiency in laboratory automation, equipment operation, and data accuracy
✅ Strong understanding of GLP, safety, and infection control standards
✅ Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize
✅ Good documentation and analytical skills
✅ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk frequently, and handle small-scale instruments
✅ Occasional exposure to cold temperatures depending on assigned area

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Annual Base Pay Range: $52,300 – $87,100

Actual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location.
May include bonuses, incentive programs, and other compensation forms.
