Job Overview

This role involves performing routine and advanced laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and care. You will handle specimens, operate lab instruments, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results in a clinical setting.


Key Responsibilities

Sample Handling & Testing

  • Evaluate specimens for testing suitability

  • Perform routine and complex lab tests as per SOPs

  • Assist in specimen processing when required

Instrumentation & Operations

  • Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment

  • Monitor instrument performance and functionality

  • Perform preventive maintenance and QC checks

Data & Reporting

  • Report accurate and timely test results

  • Maintain proper documentation and records

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow laboratory safety protocols and PPE guidelines

  • Ensure adherence to clinical lab standards and procedures

Inventory & Support

  • Manage lab supplies and reagents

  • Prepare and evaluate new reagents or controls


Required Skills

Basic clinical laboratory knowledge

Attention to detail and accuracy

Problem-solving and technical decision-making

Ability to work independently and in teams


Preferred Skills

Experience in clinical lab testing

Knowledge of laboratory information systems

ASCP / AMT certification
