Position Overview

Q2 Solutions, the laboratory business of IQVIA, is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join its advanced laboratory operations in Valencia, California. This role supports laboratory data management, data integrity, and analytical processes critical to clinical trial workflows.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

This position is ideal for candidates who possess foundational laboratory experience and are seeking to grow within a regulated laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform and document analytical procedures in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
Conduct routine data analysis, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues to senior laboratory personnel.
Prepare validated data outputs for LIMS uploads under guidance of senior staff.
Assist with quality-related investigations, deviations, and corrective actions.
Prepare laboratory solutions, buffers, and reagents required for testing.
Provide support and guidance to entry-level staff and new team members.
Conduct calibration, maintenance, and verification of laboratory instruments.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Some CAP/CLIA-regulated locations may require specific degree criteria.
Minimum 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
California Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) License required.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Skills and Competencies Needed

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing and walking; occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
Strong project and task management skills with the ability to prioritize deliverables.
Knowledge of FDA, GLP, ICH, ISO, and HL7 regulatory and technical standards.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with a customer-focused, collaborative approach.

Compensation

Annual Base Pay Range: USD $41,400 – $103,300
Actual compensation varies based on experience, education, skills, and work location. Additional bonuses, incentive plans, and comprehensive benefits may apply.
