About the Role:

Join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory division, as a Medical Laboratory Technician at our Valencia, CA site.
In this role, you’ll contribute to clinical research by performing analytical laboratory procedures, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Shift Details:

🕓 Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document analytical procedures according to SOPs and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct routine data analysis, identify potential errors, and escalate issues to senior lab personnel.

  • Prepare and upload data analysis results into LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).

  • Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and resolution processes.

  • Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for analysis.

  • Provide guidance to entry-level staff and assist in training and onboarding.

  • Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and documentation.

  • Ensure timely communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology.

    • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted.

    • (Note: Some CAP/CLIA locations may require a specific degree in the above fields.)

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency with laboratory techniques, analytical instruments, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

    • Understanding of FDA, GLP, ICH, ISO, and HL7 laboratory standards.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing/walking, and occasional exposure to cold environments.

    • Strong project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Customer-focused and detail-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Base Pay Range (Annualized): $41,400 – $103,300

  • Actual pay varies based on experience, education, and qualifications.
