Medical Information Specialist – Spanish & English Speaking

Location: Remote – Based in EU/UK (Poland, Ireland, UK, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Spain)

Job Summary

Join EVERSANA as a Medical Information Specialist and deliver high-quality bilingual medical communication and support to healthcare professionals and patients across the EU. This remote role requires fluency in Spanish and English and offers a unique opportunity to combine clinical knowledge, pharmacovigilance, translation, and medical writing. You will be part of a global team managing adverse event reports, quality complaints, medical inquiries, and drug information dissemination in compliance with regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Translate medical documents between English and Spanish

  • Respond to medical inquiries from HCPs and patients via phone and email

  • Identify, assess, and document adverse events and product complaints

  • Write custom responses for medical inquiries and support medical writing needs

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Collaborate with QA, RA, and internal departments for complaint resolution

  • Research medical literature and draft scientifically balanced content

  • Support call center metrics, training, and occasional on-call duties

  • Maintain confidentiality and compliance per EVERSANA and client SOPs


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or equivalent

  • Fluency in Spanish (native) and English (C1 level)

  • Strong translation, communication, and writing skills

  • Clinical background with drug information or medical affairs exposure

  • Experience with pharmacovigilance, safety data intake, or call center preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and familiarity with safety databases

  • Knowledge of medical writing, regulatory affairs, and safety reporting is a plus

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharm.D., MPharm, MSc, or BSc in Biomedical Sciences or related field

  • Experience in medical information services or the pharmaceutical industry

  • Familiarity with medical information management systems

  • Prior experience working with medical writing or scientific content

  • Additional European languages are an advantage
