Job Overview

Vizen Lifesciences is hiring Medical Information Call Center (MICC) professionals across multiple levels, including Associates, Quality Reviewers, and Team Leads. The role involves handling medical information inquiries through voice and non-voice channels while ensuring compliance with client-specific SOPs, quality standards, and global regulatory requirements.

This opportunity is ideal for pharmacy and nursing professionals seeking to build or advance their careers in Medical Information Services, MICC operations, and pharmacovigilance support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound medical information calls in accordance with client SOPs

  • Accurately document calls and perform follow-ups as required

  • Categorize inquiries into medical information requests, adverse events (AE/SAE), product complaints, and product quality complaints

  • Forward AE/SAE cases to the Pharmacovigilance team and product complaints to the Quality Assurance team within defined timelines

  • Refer to approved safety references and client-provided documents while responding to inquiries

  • Manage faxes, voicemails, emails, and test calls effectively

  • Maintain trackers, reconciliation logs, and hourly QC submission reports

  • Ensure strict adherence to telephone etiquette and MICC quality standards

  • Comply with administrative, technical, and physical data protection safeguards to maintain confidentiality and data integrity

  • Archive pharmacovigilance and medical information documentation as per SOPs

  • Participate in mandatory training programs and client meetings

  • For senior roles, provide feedback, coaching, and training support to team members

  • Ensure full compliance with client-specific and internal SOPs


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm) or Nursing


Experience Requirements

  • Associates: 0 to 5 years of experience in a Medical Information Call Center (MICC) or related pharmaceutical services role

  • Quality Reviewer: Relevant MICC experience with demonstrated expertise in quality review and compliance processes

  • Team Lead: Proven experience in MICC operations with additional leadership, team handling, or client management exposure

  • Overall experience range considered: 0 to 15 years in MICC or related medical information environments


Mandatory Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent English language proficiency (spoken and written)

  • Strong ability to understand and communicate with US-accented callers

  • Sound knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical products

  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Ability to work in an evening shift (2 PM – 10 PM IST)

  • Strong understanding of compliance, confidentiality, and data protection requirements
