Job Summary

Medpace is seeking a Medical Imaging Analyst to join their rapidly growing imaging services team. This is a full-time, office-based position that offers an exciting opportunity for career growth while utilizing expertise in medical imaging. The role focuses on supporting clinical trials by ensuring that medical imaging data meets protocol-specific requirements and processing imaging data across various modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance checks on medical imaging data collected during clinical trials to ensure compliance with protocol-specific requirements.
  • Image Processing: Utilize proprietary and third-party software to perform established image processing techniques, such as converting imaging formats, contouring, and performing preliminary measurements of lesions and volumes across various imaging modalities (MRI, CT, US, ECHO, DXA, etc.).
  • Protocol Development: Assist in the development of imaging protocols to obtain the required study metrics based on clinical trial protocols.
  • Technical Documentation: Write technical documents in English related to the study-required imaging procedures.
  • Project Management: Compile and maintain project-specific status reports and timelines associated with imaging studies.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all project tasks are performed in compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), regulatory requirements (21 CFR Part 11), SOPs, and project-specific protocols.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical sciences, or a related field, with knowledge of medical imaging from experience performing, reviewing, and analyzing medical images.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in clinical research or the imaging field, with at least 2 years of experience in an imaging center. Experience working with clinical trials or in a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
  • Travel: Minimal.

Compensation

  • Target salary range: $60,000 - $120,000, based on skills and experience.
