  • Full Time
  • Saturday and Sunday: 6:00am - 2:30pm EST
  • Monday - Wednesday: 1:30pm - 10:30pm EST

Your Team

This role supports the Baxter mission to save and sustain lives because of the importance of these devices and the help they give to hospital staff. You’ll be responsible for both the quality and quantity of work, participating in team activities and problem-solving sessions. You will communicate problems and solutions to the appropriate person and report any faulty equipment or unusual conditions to your manager. Your role will also involve following processes and procedures, as well as documenting data to help with problem identification and quality feedback. Training, teaching, and assisting other operators will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring a smooth workflow and high-quality output.

What You’ll Be Doing

The primary duties of a Medical Equipment Inventory Handler include providing excellent customer service, picking up and delivering medical equipment in a hospital environment, and maintaining high standards of service. You will need to walk long periods and handle equipment, including pushing and pulling beds (up to 75lbs). You'll also need to follow hospital standards and protocols while providing outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required, as is the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED required

We understand compensation is important as you consider your next career step. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and strive to be transparent in our pay practices. This position offers a base hourly range of $15 - $24.23. The actual salary will depend on factors like relevant skills, experience, time in role, business line, and geographic location.
