About This Role:
Parexel is seeking a Medical Director with specialization in Dermatology to join its global Medical Sciences team. The successful candidate will provide medical monitoring, consulting, and leadership across clinical projects, supporting drug development from planning to execution. As part of a mission-driven organization focused on improving health worldwide, the Medical Director will work across indications, clients, and stages of development, helping to bring innovative dermatological treatments to market.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution – Medical Monitoring & PV Support:

  • Deliver medical support aligned with project scope and sponsor agreements.

  • Actively participate in study planning with feasibility and consulting teams.

  • Train study teams on dermatology indications and protocol understanding.

  • Serve as the point of contact for sponsor communications regarding project progress and issues.

  • Review and contribute to study documents including protocols, MMPs, safety reports, informed consent forms, etc.

  • Lead or support as Global/Regional Lead Physician (GLP/RLP).

  • Support pharmacovigilance efforts and serious adverse event review.

Client Engagement & Business Development:

  • Serve as a dermatology expert in client communications and strategic discussions.

  • Provide medical consultancy during protocol development and project planning.

  • Contribute to client audits and regulatory document reviews.

  • Provide internal training and mentorship to Parexel colleagues.


Requirements:

Education:

  • MD with specialization in Dermatology

  • Board-certified or local equivalent

Experience:

  • 5–10 years in clinical practice and/or drug development

  • CRO, biotech, or pharma experience is preferred

  • Background in medical monitoring and clinical trial processes

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical medicine and drug safety is desirable

  • Experience in team leadership or mentoring is a plus

Skills:
