About the Role:
As a Medical Coding Analyst, you will be responsible for applying your expert knowledge of medical and surgical coding to resolve complex customer support issues, ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, and contribute to the development and use of Solventum's Coding and Reimbursement systems.
Primary Responsibilities:

Apply advanced knowledge of outpatient facility coding, editing, and grouping guidelines.

Respond to customer inquiries and provide detailed, well-researched responses and education.

Troubleshoot customer issues with Solventum Coding and Reimbursement System.

Build trust and credibility with clients by offering reliable, expert-level support.

Conduct regulatory research and stay updated on coding changes and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Associate's degree or higher with 5+ years of coding experience
OR -
High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of coding experience
AND -
RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Expert-level knowledge of CPT Assistant, ICD-10-CM Guidelines, and AHA Coding Clinic publications
-
Proficient in APC Grouper, NCCI system, and CMS guideline navigation
-
Experience using Solventum Coding & Reimbursement System
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Broad understanding of the healthcare industry
