Role Overview

The Medical Coder – Radiology will be responsible for accurately coding Radiology procedures and diagnoses using CPT, ICD, and Modifiers. The role involves ensuring coding accuracy, compliance with current guidelines, and contributing to the company’s high-quality healthcare data management standards.

This is a Work-From-Home (WFH) position; however, candidates must attend the in-person interview at the Vashi or Chennai office.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assign accurate CPT, ICD, Modifiers, and MIPS codes for Radiology services.

  • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer-specific rules.

  • Review clinical documentation to validate code selection for procedures and diagnoses.

  • Maintain data integrity, coding accuracy, and timely completion of assigned cases.

  • Stay updated with Radiology coding updates, CMS regulations, and MIPS requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and enhance coding quality.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Radiology coding.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field (preferred).

  • Certification: Not mandatory, but CPC/CCS certification will be an added advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD, Modifiers, and MIPS specific to Radiology.

    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

    • Good communication and time-management abilities.

    • Familiarity with EHR systems and coding software preferred.


Compensation

  • CTC: Up to ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and performance).
