Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurately assign diagnosis and CPT codes to radiology medical records using ICD-10 and CPT-4 systems.
  • Ensure coding accuracy for radiology charts with a minimum of 96% accuracy, meeting turnaround time requirements.
  • Consistently exceed productivity standards for radiology medical coding, including inpatient and/or specialty-specific outpatient coding norms.
  • Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by engaging in projects that help customers address revenue leakage while ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Participate in coding team meetings and educational conferences to stay updated on coding practices and enhance skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduates in life sciences with 1-4 years of experience in radiology medical coding.
  • Prior experience in radiology coding is required.
  • Familiarity with CPT-4, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CIC, or COC certification from AAPC/AHIMA is a plus.
  • Freshers with strong knowledge of medical terminology, human anatomy, and physiology can apply.
  • Current coding certification with valid proof is required.
  • Good knowledge of medical coding, billing systems, regulatory requirements, auditing principles, and concepts.
