Job Summary

Responsibilities
Perform accurate ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding for inpatient and outpatient medical records.
Maintain ≥95% coding accuracy in choice and sequencing of codes.
Index and abstract medical data for hospital statistics, planning, and reimbursement.
Meet departmental productivity and turnaround time standards.
Participate in coding meetings and education conferences to improve coding skills.
Attend conference calls to provide updates and information on coding-related activities.
Collaborate effectively with hospital and departmental staff.
Demonstrate flexibility with working hours or shift changes when required.
Comply with all company policies, confidentiality, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate – Any discipline.
Mandatory certification from AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CCS, CIC, or COC).
Certified fresher or 0–5 years (G23–G24) of medical coding experience.
Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT-4 coding guidelines.
Ability to maintain quality and productivity benchmarks.
Excellent time management and attention to detail.
Strong understanding of how coding impacts hospital operations and reimbursement.
