Medical Assistant – Primary & Specialty Care | Montecito, CA

Job Summary:
UCLA Health is hiring a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both primary and specialty care services in Montecito, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the nation's leading healthcare institutions. You’ll play a vital role in ambulatory care, assisting with clinical tasks, patient monitoring, and emergency response support within a collaborative outpatient environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care in an ambulatory setting

  • Identify and respond to normal and abnormal signs and symptoms

  • Provide assistance during medical emergencies

  • Perform clerical, technical, and supportive services

  • Maintain organized patient documentation and clinical records

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care providers

  • Support clinic flow and ensure quality care delivery


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant training program

  • Basic understanding of clinical procedures and patient care practices

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of outpatient and specialty care operations

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in ambulatory care or clinical settings preferred
