Job Summary
UCLA Health is hiring a Medical Assistant III – Float to support its Obstetrics & Gynecology department in Santa Monica. In this hands-on role, you will provide high-quality clinical and administrative assistance to physicians and staff across multiple OBGYN clinics. Ideal for experienced medical assistants seeking dynamic, multi-location exposure within a world-class academic health system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clinical support to physicians and healthcare providers.
Assist with patient care activities including intake, vital signs, and follow-up coordination.
Travel to various OBGYN clinics across the UCLA Health network as required.
Maintain clinic flow and support scheduling and documentation processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by the clinic supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in women's health or OBGYN.
Certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized program preferred.
Strong knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and medical terminology.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to travel across multiple UCLA Health clinics as a float staff member.
CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
