About the Role:

This advertisement is for a PhD Pharmacist candidate pool collection for future Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) roles. If you’re passionate about medical science and improving patient outcomes, this opportunity is for you.

As a Medical Affairs Scientist at Pfizer, you will leverage deep medical and scientific expertise to support healthcare professionals, professional associations, patient groups, and other relevant decision-makers. You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering local medical strategies and life-cycle clinical plans for Pfizer's current and pipeline medicines within your nominated therapy area. Your contributions will help communicate the safe and appropriate use, as well as the value, of Pfizer's medicines, aiming to enhance clinical practices and patient outcomes at national, regional, and corporate levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement local medical strategies and life-cycle clinical plans for Pfizer’s medicines.
  • Communicate the safe and effective use, as well as the value, of Pfizer medicines to healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate the value of innovative medicines through real-world evidence (RWD/RWE).
  • Create leading-edge face-to-face (F2F) and digital educational and scientific content.
  • Prioritize patient needs within medical strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and engage in high-quality scientific exchange.
  • Establish Pfizer as a key research partner within the healthcare professional community.
  • Build lasting, deep relationships with healthcare professionals and other decision-makers.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Review and approve medical materials and activities within the scope of Ministry of Health (MoH), AIFD, and company codes.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacist with a PhD.
  • In-depth knowledge of national healthcare systems, medicine funding, and reimbursement policies.
  • Strong understanding of health economics, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory affairs.
  • Experience in Real-World Data (RWD)/Real-World Evidence (RWE) generation in healthcare.
  • Solid background in clinical research.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.
