Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Therapy Area Expertise

  • Serve as a scientific and therapy-area expert in:

    • Diabetes

    • Cardio-metabolic diseases

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of:

    • Clinical developments

    • Competitive landscape

    • Emerging therapies

    • Treatment guidelines

  • Translate clinical insights into evidence-based medical strategies.


2. Medical Affairs & Medico-Marketing Activities

  • Lead medico-marketing initiatives aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.

  • Support scientific positioning of products through:

    • Clinical communication

    • Medical education

    • Scientific engagement activities

  • Collaborate with:

    • Marketing teams

    • Regulatory affairs

    • Cross-functional stakeholders

to support product launches and strategic initiatives.


3. KOL & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:

    • Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)

    • Healthcare Professionals (HCPs)

    • Professional medical associations and bodies

  • Facilitate scientific discussions and stakeholder collaborations.

  • Represent Novo Nordisk as a trusted scientific partner.


4. Evidence Generation & Scientific Communication

  • Drive generation and dissemination of:

    • Real-World Evidence (RWE)

    • Clinical data

    • Scientific publications

  • Identify opportunities for:

    • Publications

    • Medical communications

    • Scientific presentations

  • Present complex clinical data in a clear and impactful manner.


5. Clinical & Regulatory Support

  • Support:

    • Clinical operations

    • Regulatory activities

    • Site selection

    • Patient recruitment

    • Subject Expert Committee (SEC) submissions

  • Provide medical expertise for product-related scientific and clinical queries.


6. Medical Training & Internal Support

  • Deliver medical and scientific training programs.

  • Support internal teams with:

    • Product knowledge

    • Therapy area expertise

    • Scientific updates

  • Collaborate with commercial and regulatory teams to ensure scientific alignment.


Required Qualifications

Educational Qualification

  • MD (preferred)

  • OR MBBS with relevant experience


Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:

    • Medical Affairs

    • Medico-marketing

    • Clinical practice

    • Relevant therapy-area roles
