Medical Advisor – Hematology | Hyderabad

Job Summary:

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories invites applications for the role of Medical Advisor – Hematology to be based in Hyderabad. The position plays a key part in shaping the scientific medical strategy, engaging with key opinion leaders, and supporting medical activities across therapeutic areas. Ideal for candidates with an MBBS with MD in Pharmacology/Medicine and 2–4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a scientific member in the cross-functional team, developing medical strategy for the Therapeutic Area (TA).

  • Lead and manage scientific research, publications, medical education, and patient support initiatives aligned with TA goals.

  • Cultivate relationships with key thought leaders via medical affairs activities as per strategic plans.

  • Ensure smooth execution of the regional medical affairs plan, including product and medical education projects.

  • Act as the therapeutic subject-matter expert, training internal teams on the latest scientific developments and data.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: MBBS with MD in Pharmacology/Medicine or equivalent post-graduate qualification.

  • Experience: 2–4 years in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Training in medical writing, clinical trials, research design, and ICH-GCP preferred.

    • Sound knowledge of Indian pharma regulations, including MCI code, UCPMP, and Drugs & Cosmetic Act.

    • Proven expertise in data interpretation, research methodologies, and scientific communication.

  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Integrity and ethical decision-making.

    • Strong collaboration and teamwork within matrix environments.

    • Analytical thinking with strategic problem-solving ability.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
