The Medical Advisor provides medical and scientific support to Business Units (BUs), Pharmacovigilance/Medical Information (PV/MI), and Clinical Research teams. Key responsibilities include:
Supporting marketing and sales with scientific expertise and training.
Ensuring medical support aligns with local regulations, compliance standards, and company SOPs.
Reviewing and approving promotional materials and monitoring competitor activities.
Collaborating with regional/global Medical Affairs functions.
Engaging Thought Leaders (TLs) and Key Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) for scientific exchange.
Medical Marketing & Strategy
Provide medical review of promotional materials and competitor activities.
Support marketing strategy development, integrating medical data.
Transform scientific data into actionable marketing insights.
Train internal stakeholders (marketing, sales) and provide refresher courses.
Ensure compliance with country-specific Code of Conduct.
Medical Affairs & Scientific Expertise
Serve as medical/scientific advisor for Integrated Brand Plans.
Lead local study development programs (IIR, OS, NIS) and ensure compliance with regulations.
Respond accurately to external scientific and medical queries.
Monitor patient support programs to ensure PV compliance.
Develop strategic relationships with TLs, societies, and associations.
Medical Education & Events
Conduct advisory board meetings, congresses, and symposia in collaboration with marketing.
Deliver presentations and educational content to internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support regulatory, PV/MI, and clinical research teams with medical queries.
Cooperate with regional and global Medical Affairs teams to maintain product knowledge and scientific publications.
Education
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences (MBBS/MD preferred).
Experience & Expertise
Proven experience in medical strategy development for pharmaceutical brands.
Clinical research and trial management expertise.
Ability to interact effectively with investigators and key stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
