Job Summary
Lambda Therapeutic Research Ltd. is seeking a Manager – Finance & Purchase to oversee direct and indirect taxation compliance, statutory filings, internal audit coordination, and corporate regulatory compliance under the Companies Act, 2013.

This role is critical to maintaining tax accuracy, regulatory adherence, and corporate governance within a structured CRO environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in GST, Income Tax, ROC filings, audit coordination, and statutory compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

GST Compliance & Indirect Taxation

  • Review and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and related statutory returns.

  • Conduct monthly Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation (Books vs GSTR-2B).

  • Ensure timely GST payments, resolve mismatches, and process refund applications where applicable.

  • Monitor amendments in GST law and ensure organizational compliance.

Income Tax Compliance & Direct Taxation

  • Ensure timely payment of income tax liabilities and advance tax calculations.

  • Assist in preparation and e-filing of corporate income tax returns and tax audit documentation.

  • Manage TDS compliance including issuance of Form 16/16A and reconciliation with Form 26AS.

  • Support scrutiny assessments and compliance documentation.

Handling Tax Notices & Litigation Support

  • Acknowledge and respond to GST and Income Tax notices within prescribed timelines.

  • Coordinate with tax consultants and legal advisors for regulatory matters and litigation support.

  • Maintain a tracker for notices, actions taken, and resolution status.

Companies Act & ROC Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013 and applicable rules.

  • Support documentation and compliance for Board Meetings, AGMs, and EGMs.

  • Manage ROC filings including MGT-7, AOC-4, DIR-3 KYC, and related statutory forms.

  • Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing with MCA.

  • Coordinate closely with Company Secretary or CS consultants.

Internal Audit & Governance Support

  • Coordinate with internal auditors and provide required financial data and documentation.

  • Ensure timely closure of audit queries and implementation of audit recommendations.

  • Maintain audit schedules and statutory reconciliations.

Documentation & Compliance Management

  • Maintain updated statutory records in digital and physical formats.

  • Organize compliance documentation in an audit-ready centralized repository.

  • Manage a master compliance calendar covering GST, TDS, ROC, and Income Tax deadlines.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, operations, and external consultants.

  • Escalate critical compliance issues to management with recommended solutions.

  • Participate in regulatory updates and compliance training initiatives.

Educational Qualification

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), or Inter CA.

Experience Required

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Direct Taxation, Indirect Taxation (GST), and Company Law Compliance.

  • Candidates with 8–10 years of overall finance and compliance experience may be preferred depending on qualification level.

  • Proven exposure to ROC filings, tax audits, GST reconciliation, and statutory compliance in a corporate or consulting environment.
