About the Role:
ICON plc, a global leader in healthcare intelligence and clinical research, is seeking a Manager – Clinical Systems to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical systems. This role ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in clinical trial management, contributing to the advancement of innovative therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of clinical systems to enhance data collection, reporting, and overall system performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements aligned with clinical trial objectives.

  • Monitor and assess system performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and process improvements.

  • Provide training, guidance, and support to team members to foster proficiency, accountability, and effective system usage.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and technology partners to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on system initiatives.

  • Ensure all clinical systems are compliant with regulatory standards and internal SOPs.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Clinical Research, or related fields.

  • Extensive experience in managing clinical systems or related technologies within pharmaceutical or clinical research environments.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams in dynamic settings.

  • Proficiency in clinical data management systems with a focus on optimizing user experience, performance, and data integrity.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to drive system initiatives to successful outcomes.
