As a Lead Clinical Development Operations Analyst, you will streamline processes, develop solutions for operational efficiencies, and ensure data integrity across the clinical development process. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and support data-driven decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Process and Systems Improvement:

    • Drive efficiencies by improving business processes and systems.
    • Support tools, processes, and best practices to enhance productivity within the clinical development unit.
    • Educate internal teams and business users on system functionalities and process improvements.
  2. Project Management and Leadership:

    • Provide leadership on complex reporting needs for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to design solutions for system modules and functionalities.
    • Assist with project-related activities such as training, documentation, and system enhancements.
    • Act as the technical SME for Analytics Dashboards, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  3. Data Integrity and Reporting:

    • Monitor data quality and raise issues for improvement.
    • Oversee complex reporting processes and ensure accurate data interpretation.
    • Identify areas to streamline operations through data flows or workflow tools.
    • Provide regular updates on project progress and manage risks.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Serve as a liaison between the clinical development team and IT/Analytics teams.
    • Communicate system updates and process changes to relevant stakeholders.
    • Respond to end-user requests and provide guidance or solutions to problems.
    • Ensure timely execution of deliverables and follow-up on action items.
  5. Mentorship and Team Leadership:

    • Lead and set standards for a team of Clinical Development Operations Analysts.
    • Provide mentorship and ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a CRO or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Experience:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, Power BI, and Oracle E-Business suite.
    • Strong experience in database development (SQL Server/Oracle), PeopleSoft, and resource management systems.
    • Proven experience in business analysis, gathering requirements, and developing solutions.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a matrix environment.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
    • Ability to manage projects and lead teams.
    • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
