Job Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of our team, you will review, assess, and process safety data and information from various sources. You'll distribute reports to both internal and external parties while adhering to applicable regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines under the guidance of senior operations team members.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize and complete assigned training on time.
  • Process safety data in accordance with regulations, guidelines, and project requirements.
  • Conduct pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking incoming adverse event (AE) information.
  • Determine the initial and updated status of incoming events.
  • Perform database entry, coding of AEs and products, and writing narratives and literature-related activities.
  • Take on additional workflow responsibilities as directed by the operations team or manager.
  • Meet expected productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify quality issues and escalate them to senior team members as needed.
  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback to the operations manager on challenges or successes.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare discipline, or allied life sciences.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Good knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new skills across safety service lines.
  • Demonstrated adherence to IQVIA core values.

Working Conditions:

  • Extensive keyboard use, requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
  • Regular communication via telephone and in-person.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Flexibility to work shifts.
