Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for the role of Head Sales - CAR T Cell Therapy. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing launch plans for new products in Cell Therapy, managing sales forecasts, tracking achievements, strengthening the distribution system, and fostering relationships with customers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence & Networking: Gather information on regulatory requirements, customer behavior, demand patterns, and the competitive landscape through networking and attending industry events.

  • Sales Forecasting & Strategy: Review sales figures for existing products, develop strategies for entry/penetration into new territories, and set sales targets.

  • Collaboration with Marketing: Provide insights to the marketing team based on field data to refine marketing strategies.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular meetings with customers, understand their business plans, and update forecasts.

  • Launch Planning & Execution: Lead product launch discussions, set objectives for market share, and update pricing when necessary.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Set clear goals, track performance, and mentor sales teams. Ensure regular performance appraisals and goal-setting sessions.

  • Customer Feedback & Service Agreements: Participate in customer scorecard meetings and review service agreements annually.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: A graduate in Science with an MBA from a premier institute.

  • Minimum Work Experience: 15-18 years in sales, with at least 4-5 years in Oncology/Hematology.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Sales management for innovative assets with a basic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.

    • Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and institutions.

    • Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs.

    • Expertise in promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.

  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to mentor and coach a high-performing sales team.

    • Problem-solving and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

    • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
