About the Department:

The Global Medical Affairs - Global Business Services (GMA-GBS) team at Novo Nordisk is seeking a Global Scientific Advisor to join our growing team. This role will focus on medical writing, communication, and collaboration with global medical leaders in the field of Rare Diseases. The team, based in Bangalore, India, supports a range of functions including medical education, publication planning, and scientific communication for global stakeholders.


The Position:

As a Global Scientific Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, credible, and timely medical communication materials across key medical affairs areas to both internal and external stakeholders. Your role will include:

  • Managing effective cross-functional collaboration with medical affairs teams, project managers, and medical illustrators.
  • Providing back-end and on-site support for clinical activities led by global medical affairs.
  • Engaging in scientific discussions with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Supporting the execution of global medical education and communication plans to enhance KOL/HCP understanding of clinical data through presentations, meetings, and symposia.

Qualifications:

  • Education: PhD in Life Sciences (e.g., Haemophilia, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine).
  • Experience: Minimum of two years in clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Strong MS PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English.
  • Demonstrated research experience (e.g., publications in relevant fields).
