About the Role

Novo Nordisk is looking for a Senior Global Project Manager to lead global real-world evidence (RWE) studies and non-interventional studies within the Regions & Operations Department of Global Medical Affairs, based in Bangalore. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and oversight of complex RWE projects, ensuring their timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for RWE studies.
    • Align research with global business objectives and prioritize key research questions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create impactful RWE strategies.
  • Project Management:

    • Lead and manage RWE studies from initiation to closure.
    • Develop robust project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Regulatory and Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to GCP, ICH-GCP, GDPR, and ethical guidelines for RWE studies.
    • Work with regulatory affairs to secure necessary approvals and maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build relationships with stakeholders, including clinical operations, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities effectively.
    • Proactively address challenges and resolve conflicts to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in life sciences, health economics, epidemiology, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in project management, clinical research, or real-world evidence.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English.
