General Manager – Novo Nordisk Oceania | North Sydney, Australia
Job Summary:
Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead operations across Australia and New Zealand (Oceania). Based in North Sydney, this executive leadership role offers a high-impact opportunity to shape organizational growth in chronic disease care. As a member of the Asia Pacific regional leadership team, you'll spearhead strategy, drive market access, and foster stakeholder relations across key healthcare ecosystems in diabetes, obesity, and related areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute mid-to-long-term commercial strategies aligned with Novo Nordisk’s purpose and values.
Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams with a focus on innovation, digitalization, and patient-centricity.
Ensure strong P&L management, deliver sales growth, and enhance market access across Oceania.
Cultivate high-level external relationships with government bodies, healthcare authorities, and industry partners.
Champion ethical practices and compliance, promoting the company’s reputation and strategic influence.
Represent the organization at key forums, fostering trust and visibility in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
15–20 years of experience in pharmaceutical or therapeutic health industries.
Minimum 8 years in senior executive leadership managing multiple business functions.
Proven people leadership, with at least 8 years managing senior teams across diverse settings.
Strong public affairs and stakeholder engagement skills; experience navigating regulatory and market access frameworks.
Strategic, innovative, and collaborative mindset with a commitment to compliance and sustainable healthcare leadership.
