Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator – Roseville, CA

Job Summary

Syneos Health is hiring a Clinical Eye Care Nurse Educator to join its field-based oncology support team in Roseville, California. This role is crucial in providing expert education and guidance to Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) treating patients with relapsed refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM). As a key player in enhancing patient care, you’ll partner with oncology teams and deliver impactful training on vital eye exam protocols.


Key Responsibilities

  • Educate Eye Care Professionals on the importance and procedure of ophthalmic assessments for RRMM patients.

  • Deliver training materials and communicate test significance clearly to ECPs and Hematology/Oncology teams.

  • Collaborate with Oncology Account Managers to relay FDA-compliant and REMS-aligned product information.

  • Support patient care coordination and serve as a clinical resource.

  • Develop and deliver product-specific, role-based educational content.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Nursing, Optometry, Ophthalmology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in optometry, ophthalmology, or nursing with a focus in oncology or clinical education.

  • Alternatively, 1–3 years of hands-on clinical oncology experience with patient care and physician communication.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex oncology concepts to non-specialists.

  • Experience working in cross-functional healthcare or pharmaceutical teams.

  • Proven expertise in developing and delivering healthcare training modules.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CRN, NP, or PA credentials with experience in eye care.

  • Prior experience in specialty pharmacy or payer-related education preferred.
