About the Role
Novartis is hiring an experienced Expert Scientific Writer for its Medical Communications team in Hyderabad, India. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in scientific and medical writing, publication planning, and evidence-based communication within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality scientific content including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials, advisory board reports, publication deliverables, and medical education content while collaborating with global medical and clinical teams.
This is a strategic career opportunity for professionals looking to grow in Medical Writing, Scientific Communications, Publications, Regulatory Medical Content, and Pharmaceutical Research Documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scientifically accurate and evidence-based medical communication deliverables.
Write and manage:
Primary manuscripts
Review articles
Abstracts
Scientific posters
Slide decks and presentations
Medical education materials
Congress and symposium content
Create meeting materials for satellite symposia, advisory boards, and scientific events.
Interpret and communicate clinical trial data effectively for different target audiences.
Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, publication guidelines, and customer expectations.
Perform proofreading, QC review, and scientific accuracy checks when required.
Maintain compliance with industry publication standards including GPP3 guidelines.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, service teams, and line managers for timely project execution.
Manage references, citations, bibliographies, and annotated scientific sources using Reference Manager systems.
Work across multiple therapeutic areas and brands simultaneously while maintaining high productivity standards.
