Job Description: The Hematology/Oncology Medical Science Liaison (MSL)/Senior MSL will serve as a highly trained, field-based scientific expert in Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) and Lymphir (a recombinant cytotoxic fusion protein composed of diphtheria toxin fragments A and B and human interleukin-2). The MSL will facilitate scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs), Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other stakeholders in the HEME/ONC community, particularly those involved in the management of CTCL.

This role involves working with local, regional, and national KOLs and HCPs, as well as professional societies, patient advocacy groups, and healthcare organizations. The MSL will be responsible for engaging with the scientific community, supporting clinical research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Function as the primary point of contact in the field for Medical Deployment.
  • Maintain expertise in oncology, specifically CTCL and related standards of care.
  • Engage in medical and scientific exchange with the medical/scientific community, including advisory boards.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and HCPs within the assigned region.
  • Provide scientific input on clinical programs, respond to unsolicited requests for information, and collaborate with R&D teams as needed.
  • Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling to enhance understanding of product and disease knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively and compliantly with commercial teams to align on product strategies and account engagement.
  • Attend medical congresses, represent the company at scientific booths, and provide internal reports on key insights.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate SOPs and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Offer clinical and scientific support for internal teams and training as needed.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) preferred.
  • MSL: Minimum of 2 years previous MSL experience, with at least 1 year in oncology.
  • Senior MSL: Minimum of 5 years pharma experience, with 3 years in oncology (hematology/oncology experience preferred).
  • Prior product launch experience required.
  • Strong scientific, clinical, and business acumen with excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of NCCN guidelines, payer systems, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortiums.
  • Experience presenting to formulary and P&T committees preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently (70%) with overnight stays.
