We are seeking skilled Editors in Physical Sciences and Engineering to combine language expertise with subject knowledge to help authors communicate their research effectively.

This remote role allows editors to work flexibly while contributing to high-impact academic publications across multiple countries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Edit manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and standard scientific English.

  • Correct unidiomatic or unclear sentences while maintaining the author’s intended meaning.

  • Adhere to journal-specific guidelines and format manuscripts as required.

  • Ensure compliance with subject-specific conventions and technical standards.

  • Collaborate with the editorial team to maintain high-quality output and consistency.


Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in one or more of the following fields:
    Materials Science, Chemistry, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Engineering and Technology, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics.

  • Excellent English proficiency with strong attention to detail.

  • 3–7 years of relevant academic editing, research, or publication experience.

  • Prior professional editing experience is preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple manuscripts and meet deadlines efficiently.

  • Strong familiarity with academic writing and publication standards in STEM fields.
