Job Overview:

ICON is hiring a Drug Safety Associate to support pharmacovigilance activities within its clinical research operations. This role involves collecting and assessing adverse event data to ensure the safety of investigational and marketed products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and review adverse event reports from clinical trials and post-marketing sources

  • Perform initial assessment and coding of adverse events in accordance with regulatory guidelines

  • Prepare and submit expedited safety reports to investigators and regulatory authorities

  • Support the maintenance of safety databases and tracking systems

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely safety data reporting


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field

  • 1–2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety (preferred)

  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance regulations (ICH, FDA, EMA)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
