Deputy Clinical Nurse

Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Deputy Clinical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing essential nursing care to patients, ensuring their health and well-being, and supporting the medical team in delivering comprehensive patient care.

Qualification:

  • Graduate with 1st Division in 10th, 12th, and GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing

Relevant Experience:

  • 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing, focusing on patient health assessment, providing care to sick, disabled, recovering, or injured patients, maintaining medical records, implementing care plans, and advising patients on health maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Record patient medical history and symptoms
  • Administer medication and treatment as prescribed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams for effective patient care
  • Perform point of care tests and conduct nursing assessments
  • Monitor patient health and progress
  • Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies
  • Provide bedside care and operate medical equipment
  • Attend regular in-service education to stay updated with medical practices

Requirements and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills
  • Good listening, team building, and coordination abilities
  • Initiative and perceptual skills to support patient care
  • Computer literacy
  • GNM Nursing/BSc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing qualifications
